  • My experience with a extremely stupid but scornful person!!

A few days ago, I start a history discussion on Bloody Mary vs. Elizabeth on a discussion board.

The topic was set up by a person, with the title:

    安妮博琳时我在读欧洲是中所见过得最无耻的情妇 ,

Anne Boleyn is the most shameless mistress I have ever read in European history.

As Anne Boleyn's fan, I start a debate with her, my language remain polite and respectful, but the comment I received were totally opposite. Here are the funny dialogues I have with that person (I selected it out). He was so impolite that I must tell all of u about it.

    My comment:

Elizabeth's stepmother, Catherine Parr's new husband, Thomas Seymour, often sexually abused her when she

stayed with her. He would unlock her chamber door and kiss her cheek in the morning and slapped her buttocks,

Elizabeth was helpless in the matter and could do nothing. When her stepfather was accused of treason, she was

involved and was judged, and she escaped a narrow death.

    That person: 你最贻笑大方的地方,对其有染是“继父”的弟弟,而非“继父”本人,她和这个所谓的“叔叔”即便有什么事,也完全不构成乱伦,欧洲王室比这更乱的婚姻比比皆是。

Me: ?? Is rape acceptable ( I think)(what!!! Elizabeth was indeed raped by her stepfather, unless history was

    being rewrote)

    My reply :

    1. According to the famous historicans, ELizabeth's stepmother, Catherine Parr, has married Thomas Seymour.

And Elizabeth was sexually abused by Thomas Seymour, but not the brother of Thomas Seymour.

    http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=u2G6fq3EADM ( My evidence)

    That person: 1.

Me: (Even feel stranger, I decided to check Wikipedia and found out he was wrong)

     My reply:

"Princess Elizabeth, Catherine Parr's ward, had gone to live with her stepmother in Chelsea after

Henry VIII's death. Thomas, therefore, acquired the guardianship of Elizabeth and also of Lady

Jane Grey, another young member of the household. The overly-ambitious Thomas started to make advances toward Elizabeth, sneaking into 'the Lady Elizabeth's chamber

before she was ready, and sometimes before she did rise; and if she were up he would bid her good morrow

and ask how she did, and strike her upon the back or on the buttocks familiarly....'

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Seymour%2C_1st_Baron_Seymour_of_Sudeley

I don't know whether it is the difference in languages, but the truth is, Elizabeth was violated by her stepfather,

    Thomas Seymour.

His later reply attack me on other subjects, and avoid answering this statement. (Perhaps he feel shameful)

My reply: I just hope your misunderstanding about Thomas Seymour can be clarify.

His reply: 我并没有同意你关于“继父”的观点,因为在英国本地,我看过的历史书指出少年时和伊丽莎白有过关系的并非“继父”,而是“叔叔”。(huh? what history books do you read?)

    My reply:

The book  I read, "The children of Henry VIII" by Alison Weir, state that the one who violated Elizabeth in her

teenagehood was her stepfather, Thomas Seymour. I buy that book from Leeds Castle with 8.99 pounds. What

books you have read to tell that it's the uncle? Please give evidence to prove. Oh, also, the book "Innocent Traitor"

    once mentioned that too.

The video by David Starkey is also one evidence.

He didn't reply again..... perhaps too shameful, because he discovered he was wronged and put on "green hat"

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    My new agurment:

Mary only reign for 5 years, but Elizabeth and her father definitely reign for more than that. Elizabeth reign for 45

years. And many culture, like the literature of shakespeare, were rising in Elizabeth's reign, she made England into

a Golden age. What are Mary, nothing, just burning protestants and war, which make England lost Calais to

France, and she lied to English, saying that England will stay protestant to gain their support. But later start her

    killing.

    His reply:

    伊丽莎白继位的时候才25岁,哪来的45年?脑子又进水了? (hahahahahahah, stupid guy)

I say Elizabeth ruled for 45 years, not the age she get the crown. Elizabeth was queen from 1558 to 1603

1603-1558=45 years. I am correct, her english need to be improved,

    My reply:

From my previous message, I say Elizabeth reign "for" 45 years, from 1558 to 1603, if you take away 1558 from

1603, the answer will be 45 years, no mistake. Check wikipedia. "Reign" means the time she ruled, not the age

she get the crown. check dictionary. Elizabeth was born in 1536, but she reigned for 45 years from 25 years old

to her death in 1603. (45 years)

My brain has no problem, thank you.

Also, what about the "Thomas Seymour" thing? Can you give me answers? Or do you avoid it for good reasons?

From the example in Elizabeth's reign and Thomas Seymour, I suggest you to ask me to clarify my points before

carelessly misunderstand my meaning and question my opinions and evidence.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You may wonder why I hate this person so much, becaue she call me a "WHOR*", and Anne too.

Why did a history discussion get turned into like this? Such a stupid and shameless guy, I hope I will never see this person again.

  • Foul languages!!!

Is it necessary to have foul languages in your msn and xanga?

I notice some people start to use this kind of words in their Internet Diary, which give the others really bad impression.....

Some people may see it as a kind of "cool" action, and using it can build up a "special" images. But if that's what they think, they are totally wrong.....

Where do you find foul languages? Usually when illiterate people have no knowledges about how to express their feeling because of their lack of vocabularies, they will use foul languages........

As a student, I think we all have been properly educated. Why do you want to "act" like you are a person of no manners?

In the internet, even when you have put a photo of yourself, dressed stylishly and putting on beautiful make-up, when you use foul languages, I don't think your friends will see you as a respectable person.

If some of you think that using foul languages means you are "being yourself", then you are mistaken "seriously"...., since you are reallly selfish.....

Being yourself means doing and speaking honestly, according to your own will and belief........

Hong Kong is a city that accept different cultures and religions, it is estimable that you expressed good ideas and opinion for the benefit of public..........

But if you use foul languages in your msn and xanga, just for your own "pleasure"..........you are polluting the others' view.......

No one wants to see this illiterate words on their msn board, and feel shameful about making such a friend.....

Please, for the advantages of yourself, and do a favour for the others who you cherish as friends, do not use foul languages in Msn and Xanga!!!

  • The other Boleyn Girl 華麗孽緣

To all my friends in HK, "The other Boleyn Girl " will be played in HK cinemas starting from the 1st May!

I have seen the movie on the internet, and I decided to let you know about the summary of the story...

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mary Boleyn, the sister of Anne Boleyn, was getting married.

(Anne is dancing with her brother, George)

The King, Henry VIII, was going to visit the Boleyns, and Anne's uncle wanted Anne to catch Henry's attention. (Anne did!)

But a riding accident caused Henry to lose his affection for Anne, and shifted it to Mary.

Mary went to court and was forced to become Henry's mistress

Anne decided to take matter into her own hands and secretly married a rich lord, Henry Percy. But she was later discovered by Mary, and her secret marriage was torn apart, Anne was sent to France as a punishment. She hated Mary for accusing her private matter to the Boleyns.

Mary was with child, Henry's bastard. The king was bored. And the Boleyn family decided to send Anne back to interest the King again.

And Anne successed. Henry was totally attracted by her.

Finally, Henry forgot Mary and fell totally in love with Anne Boleyn. But Anne refused Henry's presents. She would only accept them when Henry was willing to separate with Mary. Anne wanted to get her revenge.

When Mary gave birth to a bastard son, Henry was forced to choose over Anne and the son, he chose Anne.

Mary was banished from court along with her bastard son. Anne told Henry that only marriage would make her giving her body and soul to him.

Henry was desperate for a son, and he decided to divorce Catherine of Aragon. (Mary was called back to court when Anne was being accused for having an affair with Henry Percy years before, Mary lied for Anne)

But Anne refused to bed Henry yet, so Henry finally raped Anne!

Anne was crowned Queen of England at last, she was with child.

Anne gave birth to female child, Elizabeth. Henry fell in love with Jane Seymour. Anne miscarried again.

Anne understood the cause of miscarriages were caused by Henry's physical position. She decided to bed her own brother George to get a baby, to save her life. They were both too desperate to think about the cost. Mary, scared by their action, leave court, and marry a young farm man who gives her nothing but pure love. (Her first husband that she married in the beginning of the movie was died because of sweating sickness)

Henry grew tired of Anne and he called Anne a "witch".

Anne and George were being accused by George's wife (Jane Parker) of  having unnatural relationship and was judged at court.

Anne was being charged for treason, adultery and for her crime with her brother. All the charges were passed and Anne was condemned "Guilty". Her brother was beheaded first.

Mary returned and pleaded Henry to let her sister live. Henry promised to send Anne to a nunnery.

Mary went to visit Anne before her execution. Anne apologised for all her selfishness and begged Mary to take care of her daughter Elizabeth. Mary told Anne the news that she was pardoned.

(A Flashback of Anne and Mary when they were young)

Anne went to her "execution" and gave her death speech. Mary impatiently wait for Henry's pardon but received his letter. Henry told Mary that he spared Mary herself because for the sake of his bastard son, and warned Mary not to involve in his matter again, and Anne's execution was going to be carried out as planned. Mary helplessly watched her sister being beheaded by a sword while silently cursing Henry for lying.

Mary went back to palace and carried baby Elizabeth away from the cruel place, and took her to the countryside. Elizabeth later grew up becoming Elizabeth I, while Mary's children remained close friend to Anne's daughter.
